これまでアーティストＴシャツのデザインやギャラリー デュ ジュールでの展覧会を行ってきたRafael Grayが、今回、アニエスベー・アクティビテにて、映像作品『PAINT MOVIE』（12分、1996年 日本未公開）を上映し、また、それに合わせてペインティングの展示も行った。この映像作品はペインティングと映像の中間、つまりRafael Grayはキャンバスとスクリーンの間を旅しているのだ。ハンディカメラを使い、グラフィックスやビジュアルサンプル、120BPMのリズムで映像をフラッシュのように織り込んで、アメリカのロードムービーを再現し、絵画や映画といった枠を超えた、完全に独自でマルチセンセーショナルな作品だ。オリジナルサウンドは、ミュージシャンのP18とJJ Palixとのコラボレーションよるもので、映画とドローイング、音楽のユニークな融合に成功した。ストレスと暴力であふれた都会から、静かな世界への旅へと私たちを誘う。アニエスベー・アクティビテ(アニエスベー、パリ本社の1Fホール) 17 rue Dieu Paris、10区、入場無料（月曜日から金曜日の10～19時）、『PAINT MOVIE』上映と展覧会は2月26日木曜日18時30分から。
