ナイロビにある悪評高いスラム街、マザレに住む子供たちが初めてカメラを手にし写真を撮ってから10年、アニエスベーは今回フランスで始めてのShootback展を開催。 米国人写真家であるLana WongがShootback プロジェクトを始めたのは1997年8月。簡素なプラスチックカメラを、約30人の少年少女に渡し、約2年間にわたり彼らの日常生活を撮ってもらう。その結果、痛ましく、感動的で、おもしろく、そして驚きにあふれた作品が出来上がりました。 マザレの子供たちの写真や言葉は、写真が持つ、日常を変換しうる驚くべき力を証明しています。Shootback展を通して、アニエスベーは共有や寛大さと同意語ともなる文化について提唱しています。 agnès b. activities!!
