アニエスベーは、映画「マン・オン・ワイヤー」を宣伝サポートしている。昨年フランスにて開催された、フィリップ・プティを迎えての特別上映会に協賛。上映会でプティ氏の衣装協力などを行った。日本でも本作品の宣伝サポートをしている。
ストーリー：
1974年8月7日の朝、ＮＹのワールド・トレード・センター。そのツインタワーを綱渡りで渡ろうとするフランスの大道芸人がいた。
彼の名はフィリップ・プティ。高さ411ｍ・地上110階という巨大な２つの建物の間に
ワイヤーを渡してその上を歩くのだ。命綱はない。時は折りしもニクソン大統領が辞任に追い込まれる前日。この出来事は、「史上、最も美しい犯罪」として多くの人々を驚きと喜びでわかせることになる。彼はなぜ綱渡りをするのか？彼に対して向けられる質問はいつも同じ。 「どうしてこんな危険なことをするんだ？」プティは答える。 「理由なんてないんだ。でも、人生はエッジの上を歩かなくては意味がない。」チャレンジ精神を忘れないこと、友情の尊さ、夢を持つことの大切さを「綱渡り」で表現したプティの姿が、見るものの心を大きく揺さぶる。
なお、タイトルの「マン・オン・ワイヤー（綱渡りの男）」とは、裁判所のプティへの訴状から採られている。
