異彩を放つミュージシャン、Antony Hegartyは、その多彩なる活動のフィールドを絵画にも広げている。幻想の風景のようなデッサンは、炎に焦がされ、雨に濡らされ
、捨てられ、拾われ、また濡らされて炎で乾かされる。そのたびに新たな美を刻み込んだ独特の世界。こうした私的な瞬間を集めて写真に収め、最終的にポートレートという形で表現されている。
「6 EYES」と名付けられたこの展覧会には、William Basinski、Barbara Cummard、James Elaine、Peter Hujar、Alice O’Malley、Kiki Smithが参加している。
