アニエスベー ギャラリー デュ ジュールはフォトグラファー、ライアン・マクギンレイの”SunandHealth”展を開催中。同ギャラリーにおいては、以前グループ展に参加したことのある彼にとってはじめての個展となります。彼の新しい作品は、60年代から70年代にかけてのヌード雑誌にインスパイアされ、2005年夏の2ヶ月に渡るアメリカのロードトリップの間に撮影されました。マクギンレイと被写体が訪れた砂漠や森、海、湖といったあらゆる自然の景色の中で撮影されています。彼の作品はアメリカの鋭敏で妥当性を持たないポスト青年期の若者達の日常のドキュメンタリーで、イノセントであり冒涜的でもあります。彼の作品はニューヨークの P.S.1 / Momaとホイットニー美術館の展示テーマにもなりました。”SunandHealth”のイメージカタログがギャラリーデュジュールより出版されました。 www.galeriedujour.com
